Who are we?

Performing Materialities is a dance company based in London. Our mission is to inspire change through the transformative power of creativity and human connection.

Why are we hosting this gatherings?

Over the past 2 years, we have facilitated more than 50 creative workshops and community gatherings for artists and art enthusiasts. You asked for more opportunities to stay in touch with the community, meet new and familiar faces and share the joys and challenges of our times. We believe that, now more than ever, human connection is essential; we hope that you can join us on this occasion!

Do I have to be an artist to attend?

Anyone with an interest in art is welcome to join us! Whether you're a recent graduate, emerging or established artist, or an art enthusiast, we look forward to meeting you.

Is there a bar at the venue?

Yes, Theatre Deli has a bar with super affordable drinks and snacks (great non-alcoholic range too!).

Can I come by myself? I'm a bit anxious.

You are very welcome to come by yourself - in fact that's the point of the gatherings! Iris and Olga will be there to greet you, make sure you feel comfortable and facilitate interactions. You are encouraged to come as you are and attend in any way that feels right for you.
