Event description

Description

Join this special session in partnership with London Fine Art Studios to learn more about The Holland Park Circle, a community of artists established in this corner of Holland Park (Kensington) in the second half of the nineteenth century.

The half-day workshop includes an introduction about The Holland Park Circle and its key members, including G.F. Watts, William Holmant Hunt, Albert Moore and Lord Leighton; how they designed their studio-houses and built such a vibrant community in the local area. The talk will be followed by the chance to explore and paint the exterior of some of these houses in Melbury Road and Holland Park Road, from Leighton's Winter Studio and his garden. The session will be tutored by artist and founder of London Fine Art Studios, Ann Witheridge.

Bring your own art materials, or contact Ann Witheridge direct if you want to purchase on the day. E: ann@londonfineartstudios.com | T: 020 7223 2360
