Calling all artists, art students, graduates alike!
Taking place every last Saturday of the month, our lunchtime crits give artists a chance to get feedback on their work from a practicing artist in a supportive and friendly environment.
All forms of work are welcomed for discussion. Simply bring along your work, and we’ll take turns to discuss it and give feedback for each participant. Email us your images beforehand at at firstname.lastname@example.org along with any additional requirements if you’d like us to get images up full scale on our projector!
Participation isn’t mandatory – you’re welcome to simply come and view the works and take part in the discussions.
February’s crit will be led by Holly Graham.
// ABOUT HOLLY GRAHAM
Holly Graham is a London-based artist, working predominantly with print, moving image and sound. Much of her work explores narrative structures; a concern that stems from a preoccupation with the malleable and subjective nature of memory. Bound up in this lies an interest recording mechanisms, documents, evidence and processes of editing.
Holly completed an MA in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art in 2014, where she received the Thames Barrier Print Studio Graduate Award and the Augustus Martin Award for Innovation in Print. Concurrent to her studio practice, she runs workshops in schools, community groups and galleries. Recent exhibitions and projects include: Venus Anadyomene: a collaborative installation and performance with Verity Birt and Richard Forbes Hamilton as part of ‘Altai; Experiments in Collective Practice’, RCA Dyson Gallery (2017); Backdrop, Cypher, Berlin / Bond House Projects with Art Licks Weekend, London (2016); Jack Petchey: START Programme, South London Gallery (2015-16); In Transit, Art On The Underground (2016); Flat-Pack, The Greenroom, Krakow (2015).
