Event description

Description

ArtLine is a Visual Arts Street Market, that take place in Broad Street East (the end of M&S and The Oracle main entrance). Launched July 2018 by Reading Business Improvement District with Jelly’s Open for Art, the event aims to attract people to Reading and support the town centre economy while profiling Reading as a cultural destination supporting a strong artistic community.

A second event was held Sunday 27 November as part of the ‘Magical Reading’ Christmas events.

Following the success of the two first markets, we are pleased to announce the dates for 2019

Sunday 28 April 11am – 4pm
Sunday 30 June (opening event for Open for Art 2019) 11am – 4pm

Sunday 24 November 10.30am – 3.30pm

Join them on Sunday 28 April from 11am - 4pm to view beautiful works include paintings, original photography, drawings, limited edition prints and hanging textiles. You can speak to the artists on their stands and find out what inspires them. Even better, all of the works will be for sale, and you can buy direct from the artists whilst supporting independent artists.

The market is free to attend, family-friendly and there will also be festive street food vendors on site to keep us all well fed.

ArtLine is supported Reading Business Improvement District and Jelly.
