Put the date in the diary, because you guessed it, ARTROOMS is BACK!
For a third year running ARTROOMS will be taking over 80 bedrooms at Meliá White House, a top 4 star deluxe hotel (closest station Great Portland Street), for 4 days during London Arts Fair!
The exhibition will showcase artists work chosen by our prestigious committee, including artist Gavin Turk, S2 Sothey's Gallery Director Fru Tholstrup, curators Sam Walker and Bronac Ferran, art critic Michael Barnett and Anthony Molino, Steven Music founder of Celeste Prize, art collector Alessandra Stagliano, art dealers Luoisa Grasso Omar and Paola Lucente, Jimmy Lek founder of Art Gemini Prize, Antonella Di Lullo from NU Factory.
Established artists will also be exhibited with the ‘guest artist’ line-up, including Francesca Pasquali (courtesy of Tornabuoni Art UK),
Cristina Antonini, ARTROOMS founder, commented, “We invite all the galleries based in London and those present during the London Art Fair Week, to come and scout for artists, using the fair to test them in the market and potentially nurture further collaborations. It is a unique opportunity for them to uncover unrepresented talent from all over the world. Galleries play a very important role in the art industry and our aim is to facilitate the quest for tomorrow’s next big star.”
“There is no other event offering independent artists this level of exposure in the UK”
ARTROOMS will open with a special, invitation-only, preview on 20th January 2016, opening to the general public from 21 – 23 January 2016.
