Event description
Cultural and Education colleagues are invited to attend an online briefing to introduce the Arts Award programme.

About this event

If you’re not already engaged with Arts Award and you’re curious to find out more, Curious Minds would like to invite you to a free online session, which will introduce you to this flagship Arts and Cultural award for young people.

What is Arts Award?

Arts Award is a set of qualifications that young people aged up to 25 can achieve. There are five levels for young people to explore and engage in arts and creative activities, as well as develop their own skills as future art leaders. As a flexible framework, Arts Award can be delivered individually or to whole groups of young people and can be embedded as part of wider schemes of work.

The briefing:

During this briefing you will be provided with an overview of Arts Award, the steps you need to take to deliver the programme and how working towards this award can benefit your young people and wider community.

As the local support organisation for Arts Award in the North West, you will also find out how Curious Minds can support you in your programme delivery.

Ahead of the briefing you may wish to familarise yourself with Arts Award resources including the Annual Guide, which is free to access via the following link: https://padlet.com/curiousminds_prog_support/1nh1bhpk8u9nzkwq

This session will be taking place online via video conferencing platform Zoom. Attendees will be contacted directly with the relevant information ahead of the day in order to join the meeting.
