Event description

Description

Arts Health Early Career Research Network Workshop and Lunch (re-scheduled from March)

How can research and arts and cultural organisations work best together? What challenges and barriers do we face? What success should we celebrate? Join other early career researchers working in arts and health across the West Midlands and surrounding areas to discuss these questions at this Arts Health ECRN West Midlands workshop and meet-up. This event is supported by the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.

Alice Williams will tell us about the work of Belgrade's Arts Gymnasium, using theatre and arts activities to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the people of Coventry. Dr Katherine Wimpenny of Coventry University has worked with the Belgrade Theatre for a number of years and she will tell us about their work together.

There will be plenty of time for discussion, to share good practice and exchange ideas, facilitated by Dr Claire Garabedian and Karen Gray from the University of Worcester.

We will eat lunch together. Please bring your own or buy food at the Belgrade Cafe Bar.

This is an event for early career researchers in arts and health - graduate students, researchers who received their PhD less than 8 years ago and early career professionals working in research and evaluation. You don't have to be a member of the Arts Health ECRN to attend, but it's free to join and there are lots of benefits! Join here.

This event has been re-scheduled after snow stopped play back in March.
