About this Event

Please note that this event is being postponed — please do not book a ticket. We have not cancelled this event since those that have already booked have the option of keeping their ticket or requesting a refund.

We’re pleased to announce that the Arts & Health Hub will be hosting its first conference in partnership with London Arts in Health Forum on May 23rd at Kentish Town Health Centre (Camden, London).

The Arts & Health Hub is an in-person and online space for artists and cultural producers interested in arts and health. Launched in 2015 by artist Daniel Regan, the Hub is open to people of all backgrounds, disciplines, experiences and stages in their practice or career. Our 3 principles are to connect with one another, learn from one another and share with one another.

Our conference is one of Creativity & Wellbeing Week’s key events focusing on the theme of positive futures. This event provides the opportunity for artists, cultural producers and organisations to consider the flourishing opportunities within arts and health. The day consists of opportunites to hear from exceptional artists working in the sector talk about innovative practice within arts and health, breakout sessions focusing on collective troubleshooting, collaboration and more, plus an opportunity to network with an array of attendees from diverse creative backgrounds.

All this will take place within the stunning setting of Kentish Town Health Centre, an exemplar of integrated care, which will be open exclusively and privately for the event.

Key partner: London Arts in Health Forum.

Full programme TBC.

Bursaries

Limited free bursary tickets are available to artists that may struggle to attend this event. This includes artists on low income, that are disabled, students etc. We particularly want to support LGBT+ and BAME artists. You must be able to evidence how your work relates to arts and health. Priority will be given to existing Hub members. Please email info@artsandhealthhub.org for more information.

Access

This event takes place at Kentish Town Health Centre which is accessible for wheelchair users with wide corridors. We use the centre’s wooden seats and are unable to provide other seating. The building does not have a hearing loop in the room and we are unable to provide BSL interpreters. If you know of any grants/funds that could help with this, let us know. We want to make your experience as comfortable as possible, so please do let us know if you have any access needs, and we will try to accommodate them as much as possible, within our limitations.

Lunch & Refreshments

Please note that refreshments are provided, however lunch is not provided. There are a number of supermarkets and cafes a few minutes away from Kentish Town Health Centre.
