Arts Hour on Tour in Rome
Event Information
About this Event
Please join us for the online recording of BBC World Service Radio's 'The Arts Hour on Tour in Rome' on Wednesday 16 December - online access from 1445, show from 1500 until 1700 in CET. If you are joining from the UK its 1345 -1600 GMT.
This programme will be in English.
Via the magic of the internet, we celebrate performance arts, with 'as live' music from Roman pop star Carl Brave and opera star Carmen Giannattasio, and comedy from Italian television's Edoardo Ferrario.
Film director Laura Luchetti, theatre performer Martina Badiluzzi and internationally renowned street artist Alice Pasquini, also join us to discuss how performance arts in Italy are being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Presenter Nikki Bedi will be asking them about the challenges artists are facing, how are they adapting to restrictions and the implications of the pandemic for the future of culture in the 'Eternal City'.
Please be aware we have to offer more tickets to our show than we have streams, as many people are not able on the day to join us and we would like a full audience to add their reactions to the show live. Please sign in in good time to avoid disappointment .
