About us: Arts SU and the student campaign PArt of Us invites you to attend an exhibition to highlight and celebrate works and initiatives demonstrating the potential of creative communites engaging with social issues.
Our past campaign focused on the refugee crisis. We hosted an exhibition and auction bringing together 5 charities/organisations, over 50 artists, 250 attendees, and raising over £4000. October 3rd’s exhibition Projects for Change: Outside the Lines will mark the continuation of PArt of Us’ engagement with this issue, as well as expanding our focus to social issues closer to home.
Produced by Eleanor Henson (campaign leader), Håkon Lillegraven (curator) and Rachel Maughan (college liason) with the support of Arts SU and University of the Arts London.
Note that PArt of Us will be taking a minimum donation of £2 at the door to fund our future projects and collaborations. A copy of Nora Lorek and Carolina Rapezzi’s zine from Calais March 2016, printed exclusively for Part of Us will be gifted to all donors.
Doors to the exhition will open at 6:30PM, with speakers and screenings to be announced.
