Tue 22 November 2016, 09:30 – 12:30 GMT
WHAT IS ARTSMARK?
Artsmark is an award for schools who demonstrate a commitment to putting arts and cultural provision for all children and young people at the heart of their school. Artsmark encourages schools to work with cultural organisations in embedding arts and culture within their development plans and to create long term partnerships.
Awarded by Arts Council England the new Artsmark Award is a useful, practical and valuable tool for enriching a school’s arts provision and ensuring the myriad of benefits brought by the arts are infused across the curriculum and the school community.
