Curious Minds is inviting education settings from across the North West to attend a briefing session to introduce the Artsmark programme.

About this event

Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools, accredited by Arts Council England.  It provides a clear framework for teachers to plan, develop and evaluate arts, culture and creativity across the curriculum and beyond.

Artsmark has been designed by schools, for schools, to align with School Improvement and development plans.  It can also support core EBACC and STEM priorities and is a practical way of aligning with the Ofsted framework, giving the curriculum breadth and balance.  As well as recognising schools that are making the arts come alive, the Artsmark award is a valuable tool for enriching a school's arts provision whatever the starting point.  Artsmark is open to schools from across all phases of education,  including SEN and specialist schools

During the session, you will have the opportunity to find out more about what's involved in the programme, including the journey schools go on to attain the award.  You will also hear about how working towards and gaining Artsmark can benefit your school.

As the local support organisation for Artsmark schools in the North West, you will also find out how Curious Minds can support your school through each stage of the process and the next steps you need to take in order to begin your school's own arts and cultural journey.

This event will be taking place via Zoom. Once you have booked onto the session, you will be contacted in due course by a member of the Curious Minds team with the registration link for the meeting.
