Event description

Description

Curious Minds are holding two information sessions in one day. These are:

  • The NEW Artsmark Partnership Programme (formerly Artsmark Champions)
  • The Quality Principles and The quality metrics.

The Artsmark Partnership Programme

Arts Council England have now finalised plans for a new programme to support cultural organisations to understand and meet the needs of Artsmark schools.

The Artsmark Partnership Programme (formerly Artsmark Champions) will be opened to Arts and Cultural Organisations in the Autumn Term and then marketed to Artsmark schools and educational settings in the Spring Term 2018.

Curious Minds have put together a briefing event to outline the new Artsmark Partnership Programme and help NPO’s and other orgs get involved.

Quality Principles and the Quality metrics

On the same day we are offering cultural organisations a facilitated session to explore the Arts Council England's Quality Principles (a requirement for all Goal 5 NPO). How are your peers embedding them in in their practice? How and where have they been most useful? We will also look at the Participatory Quality Metrics and explore the synergy between the two. (The aim of the quality principles work is to raise the standard of work being produced by, with and for children and young people. Seven quality principles have been developed as a result of close collaboration between the Arts Council England and arts and cultural organisations that work with children and young people).

Outline of the Day:

  • 10:00-13:00 Quality Principles morning session
  • 13:00-13:45 Lunch
  • 13:45 - 16:30 Artsmark Partnership Programme afternoon briefing (PLEASE NOTE: The afternoon session is intended for Arts & Cultural Organisations only)

Delegates are welcome to book for either the full day event or specifically for the morning or afternoon sessions. Please select your required ticket when booking.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day.
