Event description

Description

SEND schools across the North West are invited to attend an Artsmark Peer to Peer Network meeting, with a particular focus on the delivery of creative education within SEND settings.

Led by Peterhouse School's Artsmark leads - Shena Edwards and Lesley Flemming, this session will focus on how schools can use the Arts to motivate young people with autism - allowing them to develop skills to equip and enable them for adult life. Attendees will also have the opportunity to find out how Arts Award can be used as a framework for arts based teaching and will be provided examples of students work for Discover, Bronze and Explore awards. Please note: Artsmark and Arts Award are two separate programmes, however the Arts Award can enrich a school's Artsmark journey:
