Lucia Para is an Italian artist and illustrator and she will share her favourite tecniques to start a sketchbook practice outdoors (or enrich your existing one).

We will stop at view points and do quick sketches focusing on elements of the landscape.

All levels of ability are welcome. Please bring along a sketchbook and your favourite art materials (graphite or coloured pencils, pastels, markers, basic).

The walk is around 1 and half mile, has few steep parts.


This walk is part of the Biosphere Festival. Tickets are free but please book in advance. If you no longer need your ticket please cancel via Eventbrite to allow someone else the place.

Who is the walk for?

Although the walk is for adults, young people 16+ with a passion for art or currently studying art are welcome to join.

How much parking is available?

Allow plenty of time for parking in nearby streets as pub car parking is restricted.

Will I be able to sit whilst sketching?

Yes! But if you are not comfortable sitting on the ground please bring a lightweight folding chair.
