Here at ARU we love BTEC students. We are delighted to host a day for Level 3, second year BTEC students who are currently making up their minds about their next steps. If that's you, and you're not sure if Uni may be for you, or if you need some help making a start on your application, then come along to our BTEC Conference.
The events will run at both our Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses. Please note, this booking page is for the Cambridge event on 12 October. To book for Chelmsford, please click here.
The day will start at 10am, and you will find out more about ARU and about why Uni might be a good choice for you. Our friendly experts will cover how to choose a course, and the benefits of going to Uni.
We will also run two sessions on personal statement writing - you choose which level would suit you best, either Session A (for complete beginners), or Session B (for those who've already made a start).
Following that, we will provide you with lunch, and a chance to chat to our faculties about the courses we have on offer.
In the afternoon, you will then be taken on a tour of the city by one of our current students. You'll take in the sights, and visit students essesntials. At the end of the city tour, you can opt to take a tour of the campus too.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
On the day, we will have a registration area, and will ask all visitors to sign in.
If you are under the age of 18, we will require permission from your school/college to attend. We will ask for your age as part of the booking process, and will require a contact at your college to authorise your visit if necessary.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Unfortunately we have very limited parking on campus. If you are a blue badge holder, please get in touch with Emma Hickman to arrange parking (email@example.com).
