Description

ASA Football Agent - Level 2

ASA Football Agent - Level 2 is your next step on a pathway that could lead you into an exciting career as a Football Agent/Intermediary.

In April 2015, FIFA de-regulated Football Agent activity and gave Agents the new title of 'Football Intermediaries'. FIFA's changes effectively mean that there are no longer be any 'licensed' Football Agents and that there are no barriers to entry (like the FA Exam or the FIFA bond). As a result almost anyone can set themselves up as a Football Agent/Intermediary. Many will see this as an opportunity to break into an industry awash with money.

Ideally, you will have attended one of the ASA Football Agent - Level 1 (Getting Started) seminars at either Newcastle Utd, FC United of Manchester, Wolverhampton Wanderers or UCFB, Etihad Stadium in the 2016/17 season before moving on to the ASA Football Agent - Level 2.

ASA Football Agent - Level 2 is a one day workshop (over five and a half hours) that will build on your knowledge and skills acquired from the ASA Football Agent - Level 1 (Getting Started).

This in-depth workshop will cover topics including Football Agent rules and regulations, administration (Football Intermediary registration, representation contracts, player contracts), networking, scouting, negotiation and working with Clubs/Players (including minors). With guest speakers from the football industry, practical examples and Q & A.

Taking place in a large function suite over looking the pitch at Broadhurst Park, the home of FC United of Manchester, the workshop will be delivered by:

Tony Sharkey, Football Intermediary at Athelite Sports Agency (ASA). Tony is a successful Football Agent of over 15 years and has completed many football transactions.

With Ryan McKnight. Football executive McKnight has worked with several football clubs including Wolves, Port Vale and Stockport as well as being the former editor of FC Business magazine.

Buffet lunch and refreshments are included.

The workshop is the second step in the ASA Football Agent Education & Training offering.

ASA Football Agent - Level 1 (Getting Started)

ASA Football Agent - Level 2 (One day workshop)

ASA Football Agent - Level 3 (Two day workshop, additional study and a small number of internships)

Plus you will also receive an invitation* to attend the next FOOTBALL TRANSFER FORUM - A high quality networking event in the North of England for Football Clubs and Football Agents prior to the Summer Transfer Window. *(This is an invitation-only event where additional costs will apply).
