ASB on the Road - Stirling Conference
Wed 3 May 2017, 10:00 – 16:00 BST
Join us in Stirling as we take our ASB conferences “on the road”. Meet and network with like-minded businesswomen and enjoy a day of interesting and inspiring interactive workshops, discussions and business showcases.
Our workshops led by industry experts are designed to challenge, encourage and motivate, and are for employees and business owners. Members are invited to book business showcase tables to promote their businesses
We will begin with “What is your why?” Why we need to be clear about our WHY, how this drives our behaviour and distinguishes us from our competition and what motivates and inspires us to do our very best work every day, and how you can attract and retain the clients you want to work with.
We will then look at “Walking your customer journey”. Do you and your team deliver your values and story in a consistent way? What experience do your customers have with your business? In this fun, interactive and enlightening workshop we will help you look at your business from a different perspective - from the eyes of your customer!
Our third workshop will explore “Who do you think you are?” How you can enhance your personal and business profile so that you have the leading edge on your competitors and strengthen your brand position. We’ll show you how to become a brand ambassador creating an authentic, stand-out identity, set of values and personality for your business.
Our final workshop will show you how to “Get your message out!” Building on everything you have learned during the day we will finish with a very practical workshop showing you how you can use video in social media to share your business story, values and messages with your customers. We'll look at why every business needs video content and how you can get this onto YouTube, Twitter, Snap Chat and Facebook.
At the end of the afternoon we will have a panel discussion with former winners of the ASB National Business Awards. They will share their experiences of the application and interview process and how winning an award has impacted their businesses.
We will have one extra short presentation from The Responsible Safari Company. This is an opportunity to give something back and take part in a life-changing Women’s Entrepreneurship Expedition to Malawi in October 2018. Be inspired, create new partnerships, share your skills and understand more about the key role of women in Malawi.
