To qualify for this course, delegates must hold a valid UKATA Asbestos Awareness (Cat A) certificate passed within the last 6 months. This is a legal requirement of UKATA. This course provides an overview of The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Regulation 4 - the duty to manage asbestos in non-domestic premises.
It is suitable for any person requiring an overview of the duty to manage and legislative requirements. This usually includes, but is not limited to:
- Appointed persons assistants
- Managing agents etc. as well as any person assisting duty holders in the compliance with CAR 2012 regulation 4
Delegate numbers are limited by UKATA to 15 people per course to maximise learning.
