Ascentis ESOL Northern Quality Meeting (QM)
What is a QM?
An ESOL Quality Meeting is a free, quality-focused event that Ascentis offers for all approved centres delivering Ascentis ESOL qualifications. Quality Meetings are face-to-face events hosted by an approved Ascentis ESOL centre.
This year, Quality Meetings will focus on the processes of Internal Quality Assurance and attendees will also receive an update on the ESOL qualifications and the support we provide for centres on our new ESOL Hub. There is also the opportunity to share best practices with other practitioners.
Lunch will also be provided for all attendees.
Who can attend a QM?
All approved Ascentis centres delivering Ascentis ESOL qualifications – centre co-ordinators, tutor/assessors, exams officers and those involved in the Internal Quality Assurance of these qualifications – are invited to join us.
Who delivers the QM?
The QM is delivered by ESOL External Quality Assurers (EQA). They are subject experts in the field of ESOL and they work in centres as EQAs ensuring they have a vast knowledge of Ascentis expectations and processes. A Quality Assurance Manager and a Product Development Manager will also be available to address QA or Qualification specific questions.
Why attend?
Each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance which counts towards Continuing Professional Development.
It is a great opportunity for you to network with other Ascentis centres that deliver these qualifications.
You will take away useful materials and information that will help with the delivery, assessment and Internal quality assurance of the qualifications.
Feedback from previous QM delegates includes:
“Excellent understanding and supportive attitude towards centres”
“Very organised, well managed and involved the audience as far as possible”
“Very clear and informative”
We very much hope you will take up this opportunity to join with our centres to participate in important quality assurance activities.
Please note that this event is for Ascentis centres only and places are limited. Please book your place using your centre email address to avoid disappointment.
