ASC's Northern Youth Panel Launch

One of our key projects at the Charity is the Youth Panel, a collection of 15 young people aged 15 – 25 from across the UK who get together to help us raise awareness of stammering, and give young people the opportunity to have their say about changing the public perception of stammering. Our current Youth Panel have done a fantastic job over the last 4 years in raising awareness as well as acting as ambassadors for the Charity. They have had the opportunity to meet Colin Firth and Ed Balls, the Charity’s Vice Presidents as well as speak in the House of Commons and even be part of BBC’s Children In Need fundraiser.

They have been on a roll and are now looking for more people to join in the North, to raise even more awareness across the country. The Northern Youth Panel will be made up of fantastic young people from the North of the country, who are keen to raise awareness about the Charity and stammering in schools and beyond. 

We will be holding a launch event on Thursday 29th April from 5pm to 6pm. Please join us to hear more about what the Youth Panel have been up to over the last year, as well as exciting plans for the Northern Youth Panel.
