Ashville College is delivering an exciting three day sports camp during the Easter holidays for boys and girls currently in Years 5, 6, 7 or 8 (from any school).

The camp will take place from Tuesday 6 April to Thursday 8 April 2021, from 10.00am to 4.00pm each day.

Each day there will be a variety of games and activities to introduce and develop fundamental skills in Rugby and Hockey, alongside an introduction to strength and conditioning principles.

The cost of a place is £35 per day or £100 for three days, with lunch included. If you are booking a place for an extra child, there is a 10% sibling discount, which you can access with the promotion code: sibling

The camp will be delivered by experienced staff from Ashville College:

Gary Mercer - Head of Rugby and former New Zealand International. Gary spent most of his career in Britain both playing and coaching. He has played for Leeds Rhinos, Bradford Northern, Warrington Wolves, Castleford Tigers and Halifax and later was a defence coach of Glasgow Warriors.

Laura Thompson - Head of Hockey at Ashville College. Laura has represented the North of England and played at National League level. She also has coaching experience within the England Hockey Player Pathway and has assessed players at Performance Centre level for their progression throughout.

Jamie Joyce - Strength & Conditioning coach at Ashville and previously worked with academy athletes at the LTA and Dublin GAA . Prior to joining Ashville in September 2020, Jamie held roles in both school settings and elite sports environments, including British Dressage, Tennis Ireland and Dublin LGFA.

Cancellation Policy

You can request a refund via the Eventbrite platform up to seven days prior to the event, after then if you require a refund we request that you contact us directly via email (DACA@ashville.co.uk) to discuss your situation.

It is essential that you inform us in advance via email (DACA@ashville.co.uk) if your child, or anyone from your household, displays symptoms of COVID-19. In this situation the child will not be able to attend the sports camp and should follow Government guidelines for isolation, a full refund will be issued.
