About this event

  • 1 hour

In the next edition of Asian MS webinar series, we will be exploring brain health and self-management in Multiple Sclerosis. We’ll be exploring what can people with MS do to promote their own brain health and help manage their condition?

We will be in conversation with Dr Mitzi Joi-Williams, a USA-based, board-certified Neurologist, who is the founder and CEO of the Joi Life Wellbeing Group Multiple Sclerosis Center in Smyrna (Georgia, USA).

Dr. Joi-Williams is considered a subject matter expert in neurology, multiple sclerosis and health disparities, and has spearheaded and participated in research into underserved populations with MS. The Joi Life Foundation, which was established in 2021, is a non-profit organisation that supports neurologic disease through educational initiatives for patients and healthcare professionals, scholarships, mentorship opportunities, and innovative forms of healing. Dr.Joi-Williams aims to provide personalised MS care delivered with expertise, compassion and joy.

During this webinar you will have the chance to learn what a brain healthy lifestyle is, what you can do to promote your own brain health and what steps you can do to take better control of managing your MS. There will also be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, so don’t miss out!
