Asibi Asibi-Girl Stolen
Fri 22 July 2016, 20:00 – 22:00 BST
Live Theatre, Food and Jam session with play write and story teller Yaw Asiyama.
First the red Mercedes arrived. Then a beautiful extension was added to his father’s house, so when Jonas Ntim arrived back home in Ghana we fed off his stories. “I have a very successful business” he said, “…an agency in England,” he said, “…if your English and typing skills are good, I can guarantee you a job.” The queues outside his house were legendary. He was very picky. Then my friend, Asibi, was selected.
Based on a true story of a woman pimped into prostitution.
