Event description

InterSci’s Ask a Scientist conversation series provides a chance for people of all disciplines to chat about science, with the aim of encouraging collaboration and conversation.

Every Monday, two talks will be given on whatever subjects the speakers find interesting. The conversations are accessible to all and should be directed at non-specialists. The speakers start with an overview of themselves and their topic of conversation, and then the audience begins the discussion.

If you’re interested in science and learning about topics outside of your specialism, come along for a drink and a chat!

If you would like to be a speaker at one of our events fill in our application form and we will be in touch soon.

Although our events are FREE we will have a collection jar where any money donated will be used to buy the speaker a drink during the event.
