Conference overview

Since 2016, Ask & Act training has been delivered across Wales, equipping thousands of practitioners with skills to conduct a targeted inquiry to identify violence against women, domestic abuse, and sexual violence (VAWDASV) and respond effectively to disclosures. In 2024, we delivered a celebration of Ask and Act and its positive impacts, inviting delegates and attendees to rejoice in what has been achieved but also to plan for the future. In 2025, a highly adaptable format was offered, allowing delegates to shape their Continuous Professional Practice. This year, the conference will bring together experts to share guidance, lived experience and current professional practice

Key points

  • What does Ask and Act look like in practice in different authorities?
  • Being survivor centric: a look at best practice in supporting.

Trosolwg o'r gynhadledd

Ers 2016, mae hyfforddiant Gofyn a Gweithredu wedi'i ddarparu ledled Cymru, gan roi sgiliau i filoedd o ymarferwyr i gynnal ymchwiliad wedi'i dargedu i nodi trais yn erbyn menywod, cam-drin domestig a thrais rhywiol (VAWDASV) ac ymateb yn effeithiol i ddatgeliadau. Yn 2024, fe wnaethom gyflwyno dathliad o Ofyn a Gweithredu a'i effeithiau cadarnhaol, gan wahodd cynrychiolwyr a mynychwyr i lawenhau yn yr hyn sydd wedi'i gyflawni ond hefyd i gynllunio ar gyfer y dyfodol. Yn 2025, cynigiwyd fformat hynod addasadwy, gan ganiatáu i gynrychiolwyr lunio eu hymarfer proffesiynol parhaus. Eleni, bydd y gynhadledd yn dod ag arbenigwyr ynghyd i rannu arweiniad, profiad byw ac ymarfer proffesiynol cyfredol.

Pwyntiau allweddol
