If you're starting or growing a business and unsure where to begin with finances, this session is for you. In this practical and approachable workshop, accountant Brenda Coombes will guide you through the essentials — from registering your business to understanding your financial statements. No jargon, no pressure — just clear advice and real-world examples.

How to register your business (sole trader vs. limited company)
Cashflow basics: how to track it and stay in control
Profit & loss statements and balance sheets explained
Tax returns and thresholds made simple
Key deadlines and what to file (and when)
Intro to importing and exporting as a small business

Our business training courses are usually fully-funded, or there is a small nominal fee to try and encourage participation. We cover single short masterclasses on specific topics as well as longer workshop-style interactive, multi-session programs with expert facilitators.
