On November 12th, the ESRC’s Alison Weir will be making a visit to the University. Alison is both the nominated liaison for the University of Glasgow, and Senior Policy Manager, and will be coming to talk to you about this important funder’s future plans. Alison will also be taking questions from the floor.

If there’s anything that you’ve ever wished to ask the ESRC, now’s your chance.

In addition to Alison’s session, three researchers from the College of Social Science, who are currently serving on ESRC committees or have recently completed committee tenures, will be speaking about the inner workings of the ESRC that sit behind its corporate strategy; important information for any potential applicant.

Finally, they will discuss their own journeys to ESRC committee membership, and how these voluntary roles have contributed to their research.
