Ask The Glass-House 10
Overview
Are you working on a community-led, participatory or collaborative design project to shape a building, open space, housing area or whole neighbourhood, or on a research project exploring collaborative design in the built environment?
Sometimes it’s useful to bounce ideas around with someone outside your project or organisation. If that’s the case, we invite you to join this free online drop-in space for you to connect with national charity The Glass-House Community Led Design as a critical friend.
At this session, you can pop into a virtual room for an informal chat with The Glass-House Chief Executive, Sophia de Sousa. Whether it’s to talk about a community-led or co-design placemaking project, your engagement strategy, a design research project, or a conundrum that you think we might be able to help with, come and Ask The Glass-House.
Please note, this is not a webinar or workshop. It is a drop-in space where you can have an informal (and confidential) one-to-one conversation with The Glass-House Chief Executive to explore ideas and seek her advice as a critical friend.
We will admit people individually as they arrive during the session, on a first come first serve basis.
About The Glass-House Community Led Design
The Glass-House Community Led Design is a national charity dedicated to connecting people with the design of their places, and connecting design with people. For over two decades, we have supported communities, organisations and networks to work collaboratively to shape buildings, spaces, homes and neighbourhoods.
The Glass-House sees design not only as a tool for creating great places, but also as a way to connect people and empower them with enhanced confidence, skills and a greater sense of agency. We provide hands-on support and training, share knowledge and learning, and inspire new thinking and debate through action research, events and resources.
