At this ask the guru event we'll be talking about how you can help line managers to create engaged employees.
The Forgotten communicators
Too often the line manager level is forgotten in the wider communication strategy and yet they are often the biggest 'communication team' any organisation has. It's vital they share the same goals and vision.
How to engage the engagers
We'll be looking at ways the communication teams can engage line managers and help them to engage their teams. We'll discuss the challenges faced and some useful ways to overcome them. Sometimes line managers may see 'communication' as an extra task they don't have the time for, or they may lack the skills and confidence to deliver what we are asking of them. And furthermore they are a source of wonderful insight to help us better communicate with employees, they know their teams and what works for them.
What to expect from Ask the guru
Ask the Guru events are small and informal events where an open and honest discussion can be had around a given topic. They can be relaxed or lively depending on the questions, the topics and the group. Bring your ideas, your challenges and be prepared to join in the conversation and take home more knowledge.
