Event description

Description

Hear from Sue Tindall, an experienced Legal Secretary and ex-offender who will talk about the highs and lows of making a fresh start and how she turned her life around with the help of Working Chance – a charity which aims to empower women to find sustainable employment. And find out about the 'Inside Out' business programme and how it helps build confidence through the replication of a business environment.

Working Chance is a charity with a fresh approach to helping women offenders find rewarding, quality jobs. They offer a professional, first-class, bespoke employment service that assists women offenders in making the transition into the world of work and employment and each client and each employer are seen as unique to ensure successful matches. As well as finding their clients paid work; they also offer quality voluntary placements as stepping stones to paid employment and a career. The support they provide women experiencing barriers to work such as housing difficulties, debt and domestic violence also contributes to their success in helping women to find and sustain employment.

Refreshments will be served on arrival and the evening will conclude with a light supper and glass of elderflower presse.
