ASOS Supports Talent x Hoe__mies

ASOS announces its support for a new project by Hoe__mies – a Berlin-based female collective, who support trans and non-binary people and women of colour within the nightlife scene, as well as the wider community.

ASOS is a global fashion destination for 20-somethings selling 85,000 branded and own-label products through localised mobile and web experiences, with more than 5,000 new products added every week.

En Woke is an evening of talks and an interactive DJ session put together by Hoe__mies’ founders Lucia and Gizem, backed by ASOS Supports Talent, to share the stories and experiences of female and genderqueer artists and influencers within the community. Showcasing key talent from the collective and creating an open forum to discuss the challenges at the intersection of activism, lifestyle and business, as well as feminism, culture and creativity, this will be a platform for female and non-binary voices to be heard and inspired.

Taking place on Thursday 23rd November at Säälchen in Berlin, the event begins with a panel discussion and Q&A session with Munroe Bergdorf, followed by an interactive DJ session.

ASOS Supports Talent is a global initiative to help fresh, young creatives achieve big things. ASOS has a long history of working with young talent and believes it is their role and responsibility to provide the next generation of creatives with the funding and support they need to thrive.
