About this Event

It’s time to get green again! A fantastic 5km fun run for all the family. Celebrate the 2019 British Asparagus Festival in style with an amazing family colour run and help even more people to ‘go nice places and do good things’ as 50% of all ticket sales will be donated to the charitable foundation of outdoor clothing and equipment specialist Alpkit.

The event

A gentle course welcomes runners of all abilities and ages, runners can run at their own pace to enjoy taking in the winding tracks and trails of The Valley's surrounding Worcestershire countryside.

Asparagus-green paint bombs will be raining down on you as you manoeuvre the multi-terrain, family-friendly route - making for a great photo finish.

The run will help to support The Alpkit Foundation with 50% of all ticket sales being donated to the charity to help give people and groups, who may ordinarily miss out on a chance to enjoy the wellbeing benefits of nature, the opportunity to get out into the great outdoors by funding incredible grassroot initiatives. You can also increase your donation too at the event. You may wish to raise money for your own charity yourself too.

You will meet the man himself, AsparaGUS, who will be first in line to offer you a splurge of the green stuff! Come and join the fun!

There'll be music and an event commentator to create a great atmosphere, along with an official event photographer, plus there's loads to do at The Valley when you've finished your run, including shopping, eating and play areas.

As well as a cool medal, you'll also get a t-shirt, sunglasses and your very own bag of paint powder.
