Event description

Description

Does your partner have Asperger Syndrome? Is their condition causing difficulties in your relationship? Does it impact their parenting? This workshop is for you. Asperger's is a social communication disorder caused by unusual neurological patterns in the brain. People with Asperger's are often deeply loving, extremely loyal, incredibly creative and highly intelligent human beings. However, their condition can create serious problems with communication, attitudes, behaviours, employment, decision-making and more. These challenges can have hugely detrimental mental, emotional and physical impact on their partners. Many partners do not not where to turn for help.

These workshops are aimed at the partners of those with Asperger Syndrome. These sessions provide insight into the condition, resources on how to manage yourself in your relationship and practical skills to improve your quality of life and potentially your relationship. Writing materials and light refreshments included.
