Event description

Description

This one day conference seeks to stimulate new thinking, and inspire innovative research, into the assessment of experimental science.

An international array of inspirational speakers will lead discussions on research into:

  • The validity of current methodologies;
  • The application of current methodologies across a wide range of disciplines and educational contexts; and
  • New, often technology-led approaches.

Delegates will take part in a series of interactive sessions designed to challenge current thinking, and leave with ideas and contacts that will enable them to invigorate research into the assessment of experimental science.

Refreshments, including lunch, will be provided throughout the day and an evening reception will follow the conference.

The Royal Society is pleased to offer a limited number of bursaries to early career researchers to assist in covering travel and accommodation expenses incurred in attending the conference. For more information, please contact assessmentconference@royalsociety.org.

With thanks to the Gatsby Charitable Foundation for enabling us to hold this event.
