Assessing pupil progress for those working below national standard
Thu 28 September 2017, 09:00 – 15:30 BST
If you’re a school leader, assessment co-ordinator or a SENCo, the outcomes of the Rochford review will have an effect on you. This course will give you an overview of the changes to the new assessment procedures and recording and reporting within the new National Curriculum framework – especially for children and young people with SEND working below the national standard.
You will leave this course with
- a clearer understanding of the assessment procedures within the new National Curriculum frame work
- a clearer understanding of the requirements of the Rochford review and how the recommendations should be implemented in schools
- a clearer understanding of the requirements of Ofsted in terms of recording and reporting pupil progress
- an understanding of alternative ways of tracking and monitoring progress of pupils with SEN
