Assessing the educational progress of deaf children and young people, Londo...
Thu 25 May 2017, 09:30 – 17:00 BST
- Are you a professional or organisation working with deaf children to improve their educational outcomes?
- Do you want better ways of assessing and monitoring the progress of deaf children?
Effective assessments and monitoring are vital to the way you support deaf children to achieve their true potential. Our one-day practical workshop will take you through the purpose and key principles of good assessments. You’ll learn how to use our online assessment resource. It includes information on specialist assessments in literacy, numeracy, cognitive development and social/emotional development as well as communication, language and literacy. We will also look at how to work with assessment without levels (AWOL).
You’ll have a thorough grounding in the specialist assessments available to help you improve educational outcomes for the deaf children you work with.
