Event information

This event is an assessment session for adults who wish to apply to study an intensive course in GCSE English for Adults, GCSE Maths for Adults or English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) for Adults.

All courses are free and commence the week beginning 30 September 2019.


GCSE English for Adults (19+)

We offer intensive evening GCSE English courses for adults (3hs per week).

Our aim is to help you achieve at least a grade 4.

To be accepted onto the course, you will need a good level of English in reading, writing, speaking and listening or have achieved a grade 3 at GCSE English.

GCSE Maths for Adults (19+)

We offer intensive evening GCSE Maths courses for adults (3hs per week). Our aim is to help you achieve at least a grade 4.

To be accepted onto the course, you should have achieved a grade 3 at GCSE Maths.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) for Adults (19+)

If English is not your first language, you can study ESOL at NewVIc.

We run successful one-year evening programmes.
