Topic:

Assessment of dyspraxia in adults.


Aims of the course:

The course aims to examine the methods, testing batteries and approach to the assessment of dyspraxia in adult learners.


Suitable for:

Specialist teachers who are carrying out, or who want to carry out, full diagnostic assessments for the identification of dyspraxia (SpLD) in adults, with or without co-occurring dyslexia etc.


This Course will address the essential skills and practice to:

  • Assess for dyspraxia in adults;

  • The test materials required;

  • The ethics involved;

  • And the support for learners following such assessments/diagnosis.


You will leave with:

  • A good working knowledge of the processes and testing necessary to establish a diagnosis of dyspraxia in an adult learner.
