About this event

This seminar is aimed at incumbents and final year curates to brush up their knowledge of the legalities around church property, and in particular ownership and management of different types of church property, leases and licences (including sharing use of the church building) and the faculty jurisdiction.

It is led by our new Diocesan Registrar, Stuart Jones and the Vicar of St Peter Grange Park, the Revd Stephen Coleman (who is a former solicitor and is currently undertaking a PhD in Ecclesiastical Law at Cardiff University).

The seminar is the first in a regular series on the various legal issues which affect parish life. Although the series will be particularly aimed at incumbents it is open to other clergy and those with a specific interest in the subject matter.

Places are limited, so please book early. It will be held on Zoom. You will be sent the Zoom link 24 hours before the event.

Please note this training is only open to Clergy in the Diocese of London.
