Public Discussion on Assisted Dying

About this Event

The next Lansdowne Question Time event will examine the statement ‘Assisted Dying – Right or Wrong?’ We are very fortunate to have the Rt Revd Dr John Inge, the Bishop of Worcester, to be the chairperson and a strong panel consisting of: Mr James Howley, from the Campaign for Dignity in Dying; Dr Michael Harper, a former GP experienced in hospice work and a Director of the Lyttelton Well; Dr Hugh McMichael, a former GP experienced in hospice work and an Honorary Research Fellow of the University of Bristol and Dr Helen Stanton, Tutor in Ethics and Doctrine, Queens Foundation, Birmingham. As this is a sensitive topic, there will be chaplains available in the audience for private discussions if required. We hope to attract a large audience to come and understand better the issues around this subject. Please come along and also invite any friends who might have an interest in this area.
