Assisting and moving people refresher (face to face) & moving and handling objects is a half day course covers the principles of safe moving and assisting and the importance of risk assessment prior to any moving and assisting task. On completion delegates will be able to:

  • Understand basic anatomy and physiology of the spine
  • Understand and practice the principles of safer moving and assisting
  • Assess moving and assisting operations, reducing the risk where reasonably practicable
