About this event

The Association of Drainage Authorities’ Annual General Meeting (AGM) typically takes place every year during the ADA Conference. We set aside up to an hour for ADA members to receive reports, review accounts, and vote on items relating to the Association’s business and governance. Any ADA member can raise a matter for discussion at this year’s AGM in advance of the meeting.

To simplify proceedings for delegates, and reduce screen-time, we have decided to conduct ADA’s Annual General Meeting in 2020 as a completely separate meeting to the Association’s 83rd Annual Conference, which will be held online earlier the same day.

Proceedings | Agenda

Business and proceeding will be conducted in accordance with the Association of Drainage Authorities Memorandum & Articles of Association. See ADA AGM Notice & Agenda.

Who can attend

Appointed representatives: The AGM should be attended by appointed representatives of ADA’s Member authorities and businesses. Such a representative will be able to vote in any matters at the AGM. IDB Clerks/Chief Executives will need to establish who is representing their IDB(s) at the AGM and make sure to book their place.

Observers: Those who are not representing an ADA member may attend to listen to our discussions (although you won't be able to vote).

You will need to register to attend the ADA AGM 2020 via this Eventbrite website. To receive the event handbook by post, please ensure that you complete your full address when registering.

An email confirmation will be sent to you, when your registration has been received. Within seven days and when your registration is approved, you will receive by email the Joining Information and the Zoom Webinar link that you will use to join the ADA AGM 2020.
