Astbury Mere Outdoor Experience Disability Day

Everybody Sport & Recreation, Cheshire East Council Ranger Service and Astbury Mere Trust have come together to put on this free event, which provides an opportunity for families of children with disabilities to try out some new activities out in the fresh air. Children and parents/carers can cycle using adapted bikes and try out other activities such as orienteering, archery, pond dipping and much, more.
There is also the opportunity to enjoy discounted watersports activities on Astbury Mere with Peak Pursuits.
Meeting point - The Astbury Mere Visitor Centre
If you haven't been to one of our sessions before you will need to complete a registration form upon arrival
All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer throughout the session
Everyone should come prepared in suitable clothing and footwear
There is plenty of parking available in the car park where the visitor centre is located
There are full acessible toilets with ramped access
Bring a picnic and snacks to keep you fuelled for the day. There may also be an opportunity to purchase refreshments from a mobile cafe
