Event description

Description

The future of infrared exoplanet observations with JWST

The upcoming launch of the James Webb Space Telescope will give astronomers unprecedented capabilities to observe and analyse exoplanets and their atmospheres. In this talk we will discuss the inner workings of JWST’s Mid-Infrared Instrument (built here at the ROE) and the exciting exoplanet research that it will allow us to carry out.
