This is a free CPD event organised by the Association of Teachers and Lecturers and Gateway College, open to all education professionals from across all teaching sectors, regardless of subject specialism. TeachMeets are informal gatherings of teachers to share best practice, innovation and insight through brief presentations.
Come along as either an enthusiastic audience member or maybe choose to present a 5 minute presentation on a topic of your choice - no sales pitches, just great classroom ideas.
ATL's TeachMeet will be compered by the inspirational Lucy Parsons, Lucy is a straight A student, Cambridge graduate, experienced teacher and former A-level examiner who now coaches 15-18 year olds to get the top grades in their exams and into their dream universities. Lucy's book, The Ten Step Guide to Acing Every Exam You Ever Take, will be published by John Catt, the educational publishers, in February 2017. Lucy blogs weekly at www.lifemoreextraordinary.com about study skills and applying to university. In her spare time Lucy enjoys yoga, period dramas and a good read.
