Tom,Ella, Alex, Marc and Rob invite you to share this practice of multi-faith mantra singing, 'kirtan'. This event is open to everyone; whether you have experience in group singing/ chanting or are totally new, whether you want to sit, listen and meditate or get up and dance, all are welcome!
We will be sharing and singing some simple mantras from Hindu, Buddhist and Sufi traditions and ending with a short meditation. This is a beautiful practice for connecting with yourself, your community and for opening the heart.
This event will be held at THE UNITARIAN CHURCH, Central brighton!
We will start at 7:15pm ( finish around 9:30pm) doors open at 7pm! Bring a blanket/ yoga mat or anything you need to be comfortable.
These events are run by donation, with a suggested donation of £10-£15 depending on financial situation. Feel free to come for free if you are struggling financially.
(The space costs over £200 to rent! Other costs for us include: paying all the musicians involved fairly, cacao ingredients and music equipment 😊, currently the average ticket sale price is £9)
All our tickets are fully refundable, please respect this and give us as much notice as possible so that we can fill your space should you not be able to make it..Please only book if you are intending on coming, and please let us know with at least 48hrs notice if you need refunding. We love the fact that our tickets are both donation based and refundable (and we really want to keep it this way).
