Attachment theory isn’t just a framework we use to understand our clients better. It’s a […] that can also inform our own approach to our work. This workshop invites practitioners to take a full-circle look at how attachment shows up in practice:
- Your Style as a Practitioner — how your own attachment leanings shape presence, pacing, and interventions
- Your Client’s Style — how clients internalize and interpret what happens in session
- The Relational Space — where practitioner and client dynamics meet, where ruptures occur, and how to support repair
What you’ll gain:
- Greater awareness of your own attachment style and how it influences your work
- Tools to identify client attachment patterns in real time
- Strategies for navigating relational ruptures and repair
- A reflective and conversational space with peers, bridging theory with practice
- Optional worksheets to carry the learning beyond the workshop
This one-hour workshop is an interactive professional development session that will blend reflection, conversation, and practice-based learning.
