About this Event
This training takes place as part of Land of the Fanns Landscape Champions of Tomorrow. Empowering communities to upskill and take ownership of their local heritage and green spaces.
To complete this training you must complete both the Tuesday 13 and Thursday 15 April 10amm-12noon sessions with some preparatory and follow-up work. You must attend both parts to complete this training.
If you run a place that people visit, such as an historic house, a nature reserve or a country park, and would like more people to visit, these workshops are for you. We will use a tried and tested visitor segmentation model to focus on what motivates people to visit places like yours. This highlights four key motivations which are a great tool for understanding the different reasons people do, or do not, visit you. We will look in detail at one of your existing core audiences and review your offer for (at least) one new audience to develop your best approach to building visitor numbers.
These practical workshops will help you to identify priorities for developing the experience(s) you offer and how you promote them. They are a good preparation for The Marketing Mix workshop on 28 April.
