WHAT IS MYTH FEST?

Myth Fest is a 3-hour magical, outdoor adventure, immersing families in storytelling, music and natural crafts with local mythological creatures from the wild waters of North East Wales. You will be performing ‘The Voice of the Waters – Crystal of Annwn’, a new two act piece based on the mythology of North East Wales. This is an outdoor performance experience. Performers must have strong voices and be comfortable working outdoors, without mics or lighting (other than by natural lighting). You will be required to perform at the four separate events, at the four separate locations, in the outdoors.

PERFORMANCE LANGUAGE

The performance will be predominantly in English with Welsh language intertwined and the audience encouraged to speak some Welsh. It would be an advantage to have bilingual performers or performers with a good working knowledge of and enthusiasm to speak Welsh.

WHEN & WHERE?

The programme is a a three hour event in morning and a three hour event in the afternoon with one and a half hour interlude at lunch time for families to look at exhibits, sample local food, etc.
